muscatine survey

This archaeological survey was completed by Impact Services Incorporated under contract with the Iowa-Illinois Gas and Electric Company of Davenport, Iowa. The goal of the project was to locate, identify and evaluate cultural resources located within the right-of-way of the proposed transmission line.

The field examination utilized ground service reconnaissance and shovel testing which resulted in the location of 13 previously unknown archaeological sites most of which were lithic scatters which did not warrant any further evaluation.
