Introduction
The Cannon Valley Trail (CVT), a
recreational organization in Southern Minnesota, owns a plot of land called the Silvernale
site (21GD03) along its hiking and biking trail in the town of
Red Wing. A research team, which consisted of professional archeologists and local
community members, examined the archeological value of the site in order to help
with its permanent preservation.
Red Wing is marked with red circles on the maps.
