Concept of Trinity in Christianity

 In he Latin dictionary by Charlton T. Lewis, Charles Short, the word Trinity means " the number thre" or a "triad". According to the book Rose Book of Bible Charts, Maps and Time Lines, bible teaches that "there is only one God, and this one God exists as one essence in three persons."

Those three persons are:

• God the Father.
• God the Son. (Jesus Christ)
• God the Holy Spirit.

At the same instant, it may also be clear that:

• Father is not the Holy Spirit
• Holy Spirit is not the Son.
• Son is not the Father.

 There is only one God

• Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord. (Deuteronomy 6:4)
• Before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. (Isaiah 44:6; 45:5a)

 The Father is God

• Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 8:6; Ephesians 4:4-6)

 The Son is God

• I (Jesus) and father are one. (John 10:30-33)
• Jesus' disciple Thomas addressed Jesus as "My Lord and my God." ( John 20:28)
