Welcome to Mankato!

The year is sometime between 1950 and 1998 and Mankato's citizens are doing all kinds of things. Mankato's grown a lot since its humble beginnings in 1852. Mankato citizens have built two new high schools recently, along with several new malls, and area retail stores. Take a stroll down Main Street and click on one of the buildings to learn more about Mankato during this time period. If you'd like to change time periods, go to the library.
