Foreign Language and Culture
Foreign Language/ Culture; Grades 9-12 Most foreign language students do
not fully understand that the culture of a country and the language must
necessarily go together. Without the cultural aspects, much of the language
usage is lost in everyday life within the country.
Mexico - Language and Literature
Spanish; Grades 3-4 The students will develop
their spanish language and literature skills and knowledge by engaging
themselves within a realm of the Mexican culture.
Tasty Tidbits From Spain Spanish; Grades 5 - 8 The students will gain and use
vocabulary which deals with some Spanish foods.
Chinese Dialect Exercise This lesson will expose
students to the obstacles to communication created by the presence of dialects
to make students aware of the usefulness of a common writing system available
to speakers of all dialect forms.
