Achthoes is considered to be the king of both the 9th and 10th Dynasty. In many books, Achthoes is also called Nebkaure Akhtoy. In the "Tale of the Eloquent Peasant," a peasant is robbed by a noble. The peasant then takes his plea for justice to the highest court of the land, the court of Nebkaure Akhtoy. Akhtoy was so impressed by the speech the peasant gave that he asks the pheasant to tell it over and over again. Thence forth, the peasant found justice and the king was pleased.
