"Minnesota Man" is actually a teenage girl! She was found near Pelican Lake, Otter Tail County, in the western part of the state by a construction crew on June 16, 1931. Her body rested in undisturbed glacial deposits, which indicated the great antiquity of her remains. A shell pendant that may have been hung around her neck.
