Champagne
This culture lived in the southwest Yukon Territory of
present day Canada. They settled this area about 8000 years BP and lived there
until about 7000 years BP. They made projectile points belonging to the Plano
Tradition, related to
Flint
Creek culture. These Indians also were skilled at making tools using
a ripple
flaking technique. From this ripple flaking, the Champange people made Agate Basin
points. These points were used to hunt bison and caribou.
