Flint Creek

This culture was located in present day north western Canada. This culture was established at about 8500 years BP. The Indians of the Flint Creek culture used bone refuse from bison and caribou. These two animals were the most important things in terms of food and materials. With the bone they made lures to catch fish. These Indians were excellent hunters and fishermen, and they also produced many other utilitarian objects. Amoung these were scrapers, choppers, and microblades, used to hunt the big game, such as bison and caribou.
