Danger Cave

Danger Cave is one of the earliest sites associated with the Desert tradition. Geographically Danger Cave is located in some of the most arid land in North America. The site was first occupied shortly after the Pleistocene when the glacial lake dried up. Radiocarbon analysis on the site dates it back to 9000 BC. Evidences of fires and crude tools made of chipped stone were found including one leaf-shaped point.
