Additional informationGreat River Greening is an environmental non-profit that inspires and leads local communitites throughout Minnesota in restoring the land and water than enrich our lives. Since our start in 1995, we have worked alongside 38,000 volunteers removing invasive species and planting native trees, flowers, and grasses, at more than 300 sites throughout the state. We are searching for volunteers to join us for two events in Fall 2016 - one in Jordan on October 1 and one in St. Peter on October 8. We search for many types of volunteers to join us: restoration volunteers to assist with on-the-ground efforts of removing invasive species or planting native trees, flowers, or grasses; event assistants to help with event set-up, directing parking, checking in volunteers, and serving lunch; and volunteer supervisors, who receive additional training and are the leaders of small groups of volunteers on event days.
