The Program Director for Extended Learning and the Director for International Programs prefer to meet jointly with the proposing faculty member(s) early in the process of establishing a study abroad course. The initial meeting can occur either before or after the course request form is completed.
The International Programs Office helps both students and faculty prepare for travel and everyday life outside the U.S. and can also help returning students and encourage them to share their experience with others. Extended Learning coordinates Minnesota State Mankato’s administrative requirements for faculty to teach Minnesota State Mankato Study Abroad courses.
