You are permitted to complete a lifetime total of 16 credits within Extended Learning courses without applying for admission to the University. You may enroll in undergraduate Extended Learning courses by contacting us, or enroll in a graduate Extended Learning course by contacting the Graduate Studies Office.
Note: To enroll as a non-degree seeking student in an undergraduate online or off-campus course, three years must have passed since you earned a high school diploma or GED. Once you have completed 16 credits of undergraduate online or off-campus courses, you cannot register for additional classes until you have been admitted to Minnesota State University, Mankato.
Note: To enroll as a non-degree seeking student in a graduate online or off-campus course, you must have an earned bachelor's degree. Once you have completed 12 credits of graduate online or off-campus courses, you cannot register for additional graduate courses until you have been admitted to Minnesota State University, Mankato.
Non-degree seeking students cannot be registered for Undergraduate and Graduate courses at the same time.
