All applicants should submit the following to the College of Graduate Studies and Research:
The GRE is not required. Upon receipt of these materials, the College of Graduate Studies and Research will forward the applicant's file to the Department of Educational Leadership for admission recommendation. Admissions are made each semester and all application materials must be received by the deadlines for the semester applied. Successful applicants must have a 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale for the last two years of undergraduate study. | Other Requirements | This program includes only graduate level courses, which are 500 and 600 level classes. 13 of the 34 credits include 9 required credits in the Leadership Core, 3 required credits in Research, and 1-3 credits in Project Demonstration. 11 of the 34 remaining credits may be taken from any of the classes in the Educational Leadership Department. That includes any courses with a prefix of Educational Administration, Educational Leadership, and Experiential Education. 10 of the 34 remaining credits may be taken either in the department or from other departments at MSU. Or, they may be taken at other accredited institutions and transferred to our university. Students should check with their advisor about the latter process. |
