One of the editors of our common read book, This I Believe: The Personal Philosophies of Remarkable Men and Women, will come to campus and help us engage in a discussion of beliefs. Gediman will give a public presentation on the history and future of the This I Believe project. This event is open to the public.
Gediman will host a 90-minute writing workshop for faculty and staff who are interested in supporting students in the writing of their This I Believe essays. Attendees are invited to join Mr. Gediman for breakfast at 8am, workshop starts at 9am. Space is limited; register using the STARS system (keyword search "Gediman").
A panel of faculty members from a variety of disciplines will discuss the book and answer students' questions. This event is open to the public.
Dr. David Engen (communication studies) will moderate the discussion. Panelists include Reverend Tim Berg (adjunct), Dr. Chris Corley (history, Honors Program Director), Dr. Emily Stark (psychology), and Dr. Sachi Sekimoto (communication studies).
