At Minnesota State University, Mankato, students must earn and maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA, including transfer GPA. Minnesota State University, Mankato is also required to monitor the credit completion rate; a student must complete at least 67% of their liable/paid credits (including transfer credits). Liable credits are all credits paid for, but not necessarily earned. Completion rate is monitored at the end of each term. Failure to maintain a cumulative 2.0 GPA and 67% completion rate will result in suspension from financial aid eligibility according to the University's Academic Probation policy.
