The Counseling Center offers confidential help to assist students in resolving personal, social, and educational concerns that may be interfering with their ability to succeed at the University. Services include short-term counseling, educational programming, crisis intervention, consultation, national testing, and referral to outside resouces.
The mission of the Center for Academic Success is to provide the academic help needed to retain students at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Services include individual and group tutoring, study skills tutoring, help with homework, guidance with writing assignments, English as a second language tutoring, and pre-professional skills test preparation.
The Office of Disability Services' goal is ensuring students with disabilities have equal access to Minnesota State University, Mankato's courses, programs and activities. Students must provide documentation of disability to be eligible for the ODS's accommodations and auxiliary aides. These files are confidential and the requesting student retains the right to self-disclosure. The office also acts as a resource and referral agency for students in need of additional services.

The Affirmative Action Office is responsible for monitoring the recruitment and employment process for faculty, administrative staff, adjunct faculty and graduate assistants to ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations, as well as compliance with the Minnesota State University, Mankato mission and strategic plan regarding diversity and affirmative action. The Affirmative Action Office is also responsible for assisting faculty, staff, and students who believe they have been harassed or discriminated against because they are a member of a protected group.
The mission of the Women's Center is to foster a healthy, safe, and engaging campus community by enabling the full and active participation of women students in both their personal and educational pursuits at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
