College students are more successful when their families are interested in and support their efforts. Family Orientation is designed specifically for parents and family members of new students. The program allows family members to become familiar with Minnesota State University, Mankato and meet with faculty, administrators and Minnesota State University, Mankato students. Presentations are geared toward helping family members assist their students with the transition to college and to understand the transitions the family will face. Family orientation programs are offered concurrent to the student orientation programs.
