There are two ways you can register for an orientation session:
1. On-line reservation process: This process offers you the opportunity to see what sessions are currently available. You also know immediately which session you have signed up for. You will need a credit card to reserve your space. (This process is preferred.)
2. Return the reservation form as soon as possible to the address indicated on the form (using any other Minnesota State Mankato address could delay the processing of your reservation). List your 1st through 3rd choice of sessions on the form. Your assigned session will be determined by session availability at the time your form is received. Make checks payable to Minnesota State University, Mankato.
Please have your credit card ready.
Your Login ID/Tech ID is your 8 digit student number. Example: 00587401 cannot be entered as 587401. Your Tech ID can be found in the lower righthand corner of your Letter of Admission. You can also find your Tech ID online. Be sure to click your back button to navigate back to this page once you learn your Tech ID. If you have not used your PIN number before, it has been preset to your birth date in YYMMDD format or the last six digits of your SSN. Example: If your birth date is September 14, 1985 your pin # is 850914. If this number does not work try the last 6 digits of your social security number. At end of your login session, you must ‘Logout’.
A confirmation letter indicating your assigned summer orientation session will be mailed to you when your reservation form is processed. Please do not make travel arrangements until you have received written confirmation of your assigned session. If you need verbal confirmation in order to make flight arrangements, you may call our office at 507-389-5498.
Space is limited to 180 students per session, and sessions fill up quickly.
