Move-in is an exciting time for you and for the Minnesota State University, Mankato community. Many of the nearly 3,000 students living on campus will be joined by friends and family members to help unload boxes, set up rooms, meet roommates, and floor members.
You will have many questions throughout move-in and when you arrive, you will find many Minnesota State Mankato staff members who are willing to help. There will be signs that will help point you in the right direction and hopefully the information below will help your move-in process go smoothly.
Detailed move-in instructions will be available to your student at the end of July. If you have any questions please call the Department of Residential Life at 507-389-1011 and your questions regarding move-in will be answered. Welcome to Minnesota State University, Mankato!

Drive to the 30 minute unloading zone (illustrated on the map that will be sent to your student) of the residence community in which your student will live (Gage, McElroy, Crawford, or Julia Sears).
Check your room assignment information to find out if a loft is already in your room. If your room assignment states you have bunkable beds and you would prefer a loft, you may rent one.
Lofts and refrigerators can be rented online at bedloft.com
Loft and refrigerator pick-up is located behind each complex (look for signs)!
