Geology 121: Physical Geology

Physical Geology at MSU is a survey course of geology. The class includes everything from the formation of tiny minerals to the drifting of continents. The course helps students meet requirements for graduation in Earth Science, Geology, and licensure in Middle School and Secondary Science Teaching.

The course has no prerequesites. It contains weekly laboratories and several field trips to points of interest around Mankato. (Photo: Dennis Halkides.)
