Geology 350/351
Environmental / Engineering Geology

Geology 350/351 focuses on the practice of geoscience in engineering and environmental work. The picture on the left shows the clean up of Times Beach, Missouri. Although the town was abandoned, the work of trained environmental scientists figured out went wrong and protect the surrounding environments from futher damage. You may never need to wear duct tape as part of your official work wardrobe, but Geology 350/351 is your opportunity to put everything you learned as an undergraduate earth scientist to practice and get the experience so you can be prepared for the actual practice of environmental and engineering geology.
