Mankato has been the home-away from-home for our son, Anthony, who will graduate this year. He came to the University as a transfer student in the fall of 2008, which proved to be a smooth transition. Over the past three years we have been impressed with the University’s challenging academic programs, and how he has applied his knowledge outside the classroom.
As a Math Education major he was given the opportunity to conduct research for a professor, and this past year he assisted in a new innovative teaching program with junior high students who excel in mathematics. Anthony’s minor in Athletic Coaching has led to two years of basketball and baseball coaching positions at nearby high schools.
The 20th Annual Parents Drive goal is to raise $45,000 and your participation of $10, $50, or $3,000 makes a significant difference! You can make a gift to support the Memorial Library or any other area on campus.
Making a donation, whatever the amount, is a wonderful way to show appreciation for all the University does for our children in preparing them for the future.
