Requesting Your Unofficial Transcript
Requests can be made:
- in person
- by phone (507-389-1866)
- by U.S. mail
- by FAX (507-389-2227)
- by email (firstname.lastname@example.org)
- via the web (Campus Hub unofficial transcripts)
Unofficial transcripts can be picked up by the student at the Campus Hub with proper identification. Refer to the Campus Hub's information page on unofficial transcripts for more detailed information.
Students themselves can print a listing of all their Minnesota State Mankato courses and their credit totals via the web. To accomplish this log into the E-services web system and press the Student tab. Select the Academic Record option on the left and press the Submit button. The document appears on the screen and can be printed using the button at the end of the listing.
Requesting Your Offical Transcript
Current students should use the NSC's Student Self-Service website, while alumni can access this service via the web at the Student Clearinghouse website. The website allows students and alumni to order official transcripts securely at any time convenient for them. All transcript ordering steps are fully automated and the status of an order can be tracked. Automatic order updates are sent to students via email. This service also provides students the capability of ordering multiple transcripts from multiple institutions in one order. The cost of an official Minnesota State University, Mankato transcript ordered from the National Student Clearinghouse is $5.00 per transcript plus their additional $2.25 processing fee, for a total of $7.25.
OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS can also be ordered:

Official transcripts can be picked up by the individual, with proper identification, or mailed to an address specified by the individual.
Official transcript requests are not taken via telephone or email and will not be sent if a student has any fiscal holds. The only way that official transcripts are sent is by U.S. mail.

The following information is needed to place an official transcript request:
(a printable request form is available online)
- social security number
- tech ID
- current and/or former name
- birth date
- dates of attendance at Minnesota State University, Mankato
- current mailing address
- daytime telephone number
- signature authorizing the request
- address to which the transcript is to be sent
- number of transcripts needed
- $5.00 per transcript requested
- if paying by credit card (VISA, MasterCard, Discover), the credit card number and expiration date
- email address (this will be used to notify you if your transcript is mailed to an address other than your own)
Normal processing time for official transcript requests is one week.
