My name is Lauren Pilnick and I am the Sexual Violence Education Coordinator here at Minnesota State University, Mankato's Women's Center. The information found on this website is dedicated to survivors, those of you that may be supporting a survivor, and anyone looking for information on issues surrounding sexual violence.
Sexual violence is an act of power and control and never the survivor's fault. The only way to prevent an assault from occurring is to stop the perpetrator from assaulting. On this website, not only will you find information to help heal, but you will also find information that we can all use to try to prevent sexual violence from occurring on our campus an in our community. Together, we can make our world a safer place.
