Employee Mentor / Mentee Selection Process
Mentor / Mentee is a self selection process initiated by the interested mentee / individual.
Interested mentees should select a mentor from the list of participating mentors available on the Mentor Profiles page.
Once you have reviewed all the mentor profiles and decided on two possible mentors complete the the on-line request form at the link titled "Request a Mentor" listed in the left menu. Complete the form and click submit. Your information is submitted electronically to Human Resources for review.
Human Resources will review the Request a Mentor Form to determine if the selected mentors are available and a good match for the Mentee. Human Resources will notify the mentor that they have been selected and matched with a Mentee. A copy of the Mentor Match Request Form will be provided to the Mentor.
Mentors will be responsible for taking the initiative to contact the potential Mentee and arrange an initial interview for the individuals to meet and confirm their desired Mentor / Mentee match. At the time of this meeting the individuals should determine the frequency and location of future meetings and exchange contact information.
After the initial meeting the Mentor will then confirm their match with the Mentee and notify Human Resources.
In the event one or both of the individuals do not feel their selection is a good match, they should contact Human Resources for guidance and or matching with another Mentor.
