Open Enrollment for Employee Insurance and Pre-Tax Benefits
November 4 - 17, 2009

This year employees may:

  • Add or cancel dependent health and dental insurance
  • Change health and dental insurance carriers (Clinic Cost Level Look Up)
  • Increase existing employee additional life & spouse
    life insurance (Click for details!)
  • Enroll in, increase, or decrease long term disability
    insurance (Click for details!)
  • Enroll in pre-tax accounts (MDEA, DCEA, and TEA) for 2010

Open Enrollment Overview Available:

The SEGIP Report newsletter that Minnesota Management & Budget (MMB) mailed to employees' home addresses last week provides an overview of the Open Enrollment information. Online Health Assessment:

Again this year employees have the option to complete an online health assessment and enroll in supporting wellness programs. Those who complete the assessment during Open Enrollment and agree to accept a follow-up contact by a health coach will receive the $5 reduced copay on health insurance for 2010. JourneyWell mailed instructions for the health assessment and wellness program information to employees in late October or follow the instructions below:

If this is your first time visiting JourneyWell, click Register for an Account to begin. Be prepared to enter your employee ID, as provided to you from the state of Minnesota.

If you logged into JourneyWell last year but don't remember your user name and password, follow these steps:

Go to www.advantagehealthadvisors.com and click on the link to JourneyWell.

  • To find your user name:
    • click Forgot username? On the JourneyWell home page.
    • Click continue below the company name field.
    • For security purposes, enter your employee I.D. and some personal information to look up your username.
  • To find your password:
    • Click Forgot password? On the JourneyWell home page.
    • Follow the steps to retrieve your password. For security purposes, enter your username, employee I.D. and some personal information to look up your password.

If you try these steps without success, email or call JourneyWell to look up your log on information.
