Fellows spend an academic year in mentor/intern relationship with an experienced college or university president. Candidates are nominated by the Chief Academic Officers of their institutions and are interviewed and selected by ACE. Nominees must have a minimum of five years experience as a college-level faculty members or administrators and must have a record of leadership accomplishments.
Candidates must have their completed nomination and application forms submitted to ACE each year by November 1. Program costs vary, depending on the placement option selected. However, the nominating institution pays the Fellow's salary and benefits for the fellowship year and covers all interview and placement process expenses.
