One of the goals of the Kearney International Center is to encourage students from around the world to share their culture, ideas, and talents with one another. Each year international student groups organize and present a variety of events and programs. Each of these is a wonderful opportunity for cultural enrichment and entertainment.

The Festival is Minnesota State University, Mankato's largest International Event. The Mankato Area International Festival will provide attendees with a passport to discover a colorful flag parade, great singing, dancing, a fashion show, food vendors, cultural displays, children's area for making crafts, as well as a silent auction to raise funds for the International Festivals.
The festival celebrates diversity and culture from around the world and within the Mankato community. This event provides a common message of peace, harmony and friendship. It also gives an opportunity for attendees to experience many cultures under a single roof.
