Be sure to make your flight reservations well in advance and reconfirm your reservations prior to arriving at your home airport. The closet airport to MSU is Minneapolis/St. Paul international airport (MSP). Once you are at MSP, you will need to take a shuttle from MSP to Mankato. Mankato is one hour away from MSP. This shuttle is not available all throughout the day.
Please check the shuttle schedule before reserving your flight. Visit the Land to Air Express website for information on the shuttle. We recommend that you plan your air travel so that you arrive in Minneapolis/ St. Paul between 7:00 a.m. and 8.00 p.m. (Central Standard time). This will allow you to come to MSU between 9:00 a.m. and 11.30 p.m. The last shuttle for the day leaves at 10pm Monday through Sunday. If you arrive to MSP after 10pm, you will need to stay at a near by hotel/motel in Minneapolis/ St. Paul till the next available shuttle.
