MSU students have the opportunity to study, volunteer or intern in a variety of different locations. MSU will allow students to transfer credits toward their degree from any accredited institution worldwide. MSU has established several exchanges with educational institutions around the world. Students participating in exchanges pay MSU tuition for their credits, making the semester very affordable. Students participating in these exchanges must be in good academic and disciplinary standing with at least a 2.5 GPA. There are exchanges currently going to France, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Finland, The Netherlands, Austria, Scotland, Ghana, and Mexico.
MSU Study Tours are brief visits to various locales, lasting between ten days and three weeks. Study tours are led by experienced MSU Faculty and are available during Winter Break, Spring Break or in the summer. Follow the link above to see a current list of study tours.
Since 1973 the Department of Modern Languages has coordinated study programs to help students of foreign language experience the culture and language they study. Current programs run to France, Germany, Ecuador, Mexico, and various cities in Spain.

We work with several carefully selected study abroad providers who organize all administrative matters and often provide on-site program directors for college students going abroad to places like Australia, Japan, Ireland and Argentina. Study abroad through a third party provider allows students to remain full time MSU students while enrolled directly at a foreign university, or indirectly through a U.S. university.
