This state-of-the-art faculty resource center is unique from all other technology labs and resources on campus in that it was designed to be a welcoming, comfortable environment exclusively for MSU faculty and staff. The conception of the center was initiated by MSU's Learning and Technology Roundtable, Memorial Library, the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, and Information and Technology Services. The Center provides MSU faculty and staff access to new technologies for use in developing skills, materials and strategies for the classroom, coursework and administrative program support.
Faculty Development and Training Center
The Faculty Development and Training Center provides an environment conducive to learning and sharing information through hands-on workshops on software, including D2L classes offered each semester, technology tools classes, customized training as requested by departments and special sessions such as Human Resources (testing and benefits registration help), and MnSCU system training. The twenty two computer stations include one handicap-accessible station. Each semester Training Schedules are emailed to all MSU faculty and staff. Register for a class online.
Telepresence Conference Room
The Telepresence Conference Room is a comfortable, high tech multimedia conference room that may be scheduled for faculty and staff meetings. The system in the room allows users to include remote participation meetings via Telepresence or iTV, web, voice or video conferencing. The wireless touch screen controls all the multimedia systems includes the phone, built in computer and laptop connections, along with a SmartBoard and whiteboard. Common usages includes focus groups, departmental meetings, user groups, and so on. This often includes individuals and groups from remote locations.For assistance with instructional design, projects to develop innovative teaching materials or online course development. Proximity card access via MavCARD is available by request Production Studio access form to MSU faculty and staff so they may access the Studio when the Center is not staffed. Wheelchair accessible workstation is available by request.

Lower level of Memorial Library next to the ERC. Accessible by the elevator or the stairway located in the Library.
