Educational Technology Services provides instructors with useful tools and resources for use in technology enhanced courses. In addition to licensing many different software packages, ETS will also dedicate time to train and assist instructors on how to use the different software and technologies.

Turn It In logo

Turn It In is a Plagiarism Prevention Module now available to MSU. Instructors can have students submit their assignments online and Turn It In automatically checks the papers against current and archived copies of the publicly accessible Internet, millions of published works from ProQuest databases and The Gutenberg Collection of literary classics, and millions of other student papers already submitted to TurnItIn since 1996.

Respondus Logo

Respondus is a powerful tool for creating and managing exams that can be printed to paper or published directly to D2L. Exams can be created offline using a familiar Windows environment, or moved from one eLearning system to another.

Studymate Logo

StudyMate lets you create ten Flash-based activities and games using three simple templates. The Flash activities can be used with any web server or published directly to a D2L course. StudyMate will import items from MS Word files and publisher test banks, making it easy to create interesting, interactive activities from existing content. Best of all, you don't have to know Flash programming or HTML to use StudyMate.

The Respondus Test Bank Network contains test banks for the leading textbooks in higher education. The test banks are in Respondus format and can be downloaded for free by instructors who adopt a participating textbook.

Even if your book is not listed there – we still can contact the publishers, get their testbanks and convert them into D2L format for you.
