Go to http://mavmail.mnsu.edu and login to MavMAIL with your userid and password. For information on activating or resetting your password go to https://www.mnsu.edu/password/ or contact the ITS Help Desk at 389-6654.
Once you are logged in, you should see these tabs on the bottom left corner of your screen.
Click on the Public Folders tab.
A new window should pop up. This window is the Public Folders window. You should see list of folders on the left side of your window.
Click on the "+" sign next to 'Departments' folder to open subfolders.
Click on the "+" sign next to 'Resident Network Depot' folder.
You should see a calendar for Gage Depot and Carkoski Depot.
Click on your depot location to access the calendar. Gage residents use the Gage Depot, McElroy and Crawford residents use the Carkoski Depot.
You should now see a daily calendar of your depot location. As students you are only granted the permission to view the calendar and sign-up for an appointment on an empty time slot.
If you would like to sign up for an appointment at a different day, click on the desired date on the calendar on the right side of the screen.
Double click on the time at which you want to make the appointment.
A new window should pop up with a detail for the appointment.
Subject: Type your name.
Check to make sure you have the correct Start Time and End Time. There is a 30 minutes limit to each appointment. Please refer to the rules described at the bottom of the page.
In the body of the message, please provide us with your TechID, contact information such as your campus E-mail address and/or a local phone number where we can contact you, and description of the problem.
When you are done, click 'Save and Close' button located on the top left corner of your window.

Appointment Rules and Policies
There's a half hour limit for each appointment.
We provide assistance only for computer problems. We do not provide assistance for problems with peripherals (i.e. printers, scanners, cameras, etc).
Considering the amount of time allocated for each appointment please be on time for your appointment.
Bring only your computer to the Depot. You don't have to bring your monitor, keyboard, or mouse. If you are having problems connecting to the network, please bring your Ethernet cable.
Incomplete information on the calendar could result in cancellation of the appointment.
MSU ResNet Depot has the right to cancel, override, and modify your appointment as needed.
