It is important to realize that the network in the residence halls is shared by other users. Please be considerate when using this resource, as your activity affects the network performance of others. Applications that use large amounts of bandwidth, such as peer-to-peer file sharing programs, are prohibited from use. Programs that continually click on ads for credit, money, or some other benefit are also prohibited. The system is designed for student access to e-mail, web browsing and appropriate file downloading. Abuse of this system will result in the loss of network access. If access is denied to a student due to inappropriate behavior, it will not be reinstated.
