Connecting to MavNet with Vista

- Click on the two monitor icons.
- Click on "Connect to a network".
- Select "MavNet-Encrypted" and click on "Connect".
- After you connect, you will get a progress bar.
- Click on "Enter/select additional log on information".
- Fill in your username & password that you use for your MSU Accounts (MavMail, D2L, etc.) The Login domain is "CAMPUS". Then press "OK".
- The progress bar will appear.
- You will need to click on "Enter/select additional log on information" again.
- Click on "OK" to "Validate the Server Certificate"
- The progress bar will appear.
- Click "Close" and this should save the network settings.
- A window may appear asking you to choose a Location for your wireless network. Please choose "Public". This affects how Internet Explorer will store local information, and setting it to Public will be the
most secure option for a non-personal Access Point.
