Downloading MS Office or Windows
As part of Student Technology Fees, MSU students can download (for FREE) Microsoft Office 2010 or Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac, and Windows 7 Pro/Ultimate.
Office for Windows includes Access, Communicator, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, OneNote, Outlook, and Word.
Office for Mac suite includes Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
Instructions to download software:
- Click the button at the end of these instructions labeled "eAcademy" and login using your campus credentials
- Note: If you are a staff or faculty member, you will be redirected to the Faculty MS Office Home Use page.
- Once you are logged in you will be at the default Microsoft eAcademy webpage for MNSU. Please click the Students tab.
- Once you're in the students category, you may then choose which software you are looking to download by clicking on the corresponding picture or link.
- On the following page, you will be given the option of whether you want to download the software or have physical media (DVD) mailed to you. The software itself is free, but if you require physical media you will be charged a fee for the disk(s).
- Prior to installing MS Office, please uninstall any previous versions of office you may have installed on your machine.
- If you are downloading the software, please be sure to download the software onto the computer you'll be installing it on.
- NOTE: You will only be able to receive one (1) free single license for each separate software.
