The primary mission of the Video Production area is to provide video support for academic related and/or administrative projects.

Production of videos or clips which will be used in the direct support of educational programs offered at MSU is our primary focus. Video recordings are made using standard VHS, SVHS or digital recording techniques. Recordings which are to be web based will be provided to you in the digital format.

Digital video production editing is accomplished by using professional video editing hardware and software by Cannon, Pinnacle Systems, Adobe Premiere, and Macintosh computer programs. Analog video productions are created using JVC video hardware that includes an SVHS JVC X2BU state of the art camera, and advanced Video Toaster editing software. Some video productions can be transferred to DVD.
