OIT coordinates downlinks that may be of interest to the campus community. Some of these events are open to anyone at MSU to attend and campus is invited via Faculty/Staff Announce on Outlook. Others are by special request by specific groups. If you should become aware of a program which would be of value to you in your teaching at MSU, call 6921 or email Jerald Anderson with your request. Requests will be accommodated whenever possible. Requests for video conferences with distant locations using IP technology follow the same procedure.

MnSCU presents Copyright Consideration for Higher Education Join us for a "lunch and learn" opportunity with Cathy Wurzer, host of MPR's Morning Edition, as we explore copyright issues common to college and university classrooms. Assistant Attorney General Greg Huwe and others will be on hand to lend their expertise as we present real campus and distance learning examples that focus on the do's and don'ts of using copyrighted works, what can be incorporated into course websites and multi-media presentations, and the implications of the newest piece of copyright legislation, the TEACH Act A live question and answer session will insure that you get your most important copyright questions answered.
