This is the "Paste as plain text" tool. This is the best tool to be used if you are copying from a Word document and have formatted the text using different font types and font colors. It opens a new window where you paste your text using ctrl-v.

Place the cursor where you want to paste the text and click the tool. It opens a new window where you paste your text using ctrl-v. If you use this please check the two boxes "Ignore Font Face definitions" and "Remove Styles definitions." If you click "Clean Up Box" this will erase everything you pasted into the box.
