Site Menu Editor

This information allows you to set the menu order, level, and titles of the pages in your site.
NOTE: you can perform multiple actions/settings/changes with a single click of the "Update Site Menu" button.

Enter the Left Menu Name

Your page will not appear in the navigation unless you enter a navigation term into this field. This is essential for all New Page Creations: you will find your new page below the Left Menu Named files list. Look for your file name in that field, and then follow the instructions below.

  1. Select the Left Menu Name box that is in the same row as the file you would like to enter the left menu name for.
  2. Enter the name as you want it to appear in the left menu.
  3. Click Update button.

Set or Change the Left Menu Order

  1. Select the Order box that is in the same row as the file you would like to change the order for.
  2. Change the number to be lower than another file, placing it higher on the left menu list, or change the number to be higher than another file, placing it lower on the left menu list.

    Note: Using the illustration above, if Page3's order number is changed to 150, the Left Menu Order would then become: Page1, Page3, Page2. Another example using the illustration above, if Page1's order number is changed to 301, the Left Menu Order would then become: Page2, Page3, Page1.
  3. Click Update button.
    Note: The left menu order will not update until the browser in which it is being viewed is refreshed/reloaded.

Set or Change the Menu Level (heirarchy)

  1. Select the Menu Level box that is in the same row as the file you would like to change the level for.
  2. Change the number to: 1 to place it at a level 1, the highest menu level, 2 to place it at a level 2, the middle menu level, or 3 to place it at level 3, the lowest menu level.

    Note: The menu level above the one you are changing needs to be less than or equal to the number you input without skipping numbers, otherwise the result will be an error on the page.
  3. Click Update button.
    Note: The menu level will not update on the page until the browser in which it is being view is refreshed/reloaded.

Set the Window Title

  1. Select the Window Title box that is in the same row as the file you would like to enter a window title for.
  2. Enter the name as you want it to appear on the window title.
  3. Click Update button.
    Note: If a window title is not entered, the name of the Left Menu Name will automatically appear as the window title.

Set the Header Title

  1. Select the Header Title box that is in the same row as the file you would like to enter a header title for.
  2. Enter the name as you want it to appear on the header title.
  3. Click Update button.
    Note: If a header title is not entered, the name of the Left Menu Name will automatically appear as the header title.

Set the Bread Crumb

  1. Select the Bread Crumb box that is in the same row as the file you would like to enter a bread crumb for.
  2. Enter the name as you want it to appear on the bread crumb.
  3. Click Update button.
    Note: If a bread crumb is not entered, the name of the Left Menu Name will automatically appear as the bread crumb.

Using the File Actions

Viewing a File

  1. Click view link located in the same row as the file you would like to view.
  2. Click the refresh/reload button on your browser to ensure the page is appearing accurately.

Deleting a File

  1. Click delete link located in the same row as the file you would like to delete.
  2. Clickdelete button, when asked to confirm the deletion of the file.
  3. Place the cursor in the Filename box of the file just deleted.
  4. Delete all text from the Filename box.
  5. Place the cursor in the Left Menu Name box of the file just deleted.
  6. Delete all text from the Left Menu Name box.
  7. Click Update button.

Renaming a File

  1. Click rename link located in the same row as the file you would like to rename.
  2. Type the new name for the file you are renaming into the Rename File box.
  3. Click rename button.
  4. Place the cursor in the Filename box of the file just renamed.
  5. Delete all text from the Filename box.
  6. Place the cursor in the Left Menu Name box of the file just renamed.
  7. Delete all text from the Left Menu Name box.
  8. Click Update button.
  9. View and follow the Left Menu Name, Left Menu Order, and Menu Level sections to redo left menu names, menu order, menu level, et cetera, as needed.

Changing Sites

Once you have completed making changes to one site, you can enter in another site address without having to re-login.

Changing the Site Being Edited

  1. Click Change Sites button.
  2. Type the full web address you have permission to edit into the WHICH SITE DO YOU WANT TO EDIT? box.
  3. Click Update button.
