High-level objectives

MSU's web portal needs widespread acceptance by the University community for the project to succeed as intended. This work group will anticipate and respond to portal communication opportunities and demands to ensure effective, timely exchanges within and across the community.

Survey update

Content/Features work group sent out campus-wide survey to update preferences for content in portal.

Other promotional needs

  • Office buy-in to extend the "footprint" of the portal
    • Communicate opportunity to campus of information channels; clearly identify the proposition.
    • Encourage participation; this will entail ongoing commitment of department, office, program, or college resources; how do we best solicit commitment?
  • User buy-in to ensure acceptance/utilization when the portal is deployed
