Fairytale of New York
Rhino
The
original Celtic Punks, the Pogues, first five albums were recently
reissued. Last month I played the Pogues "Dirty Old Town,"
from the Global Rhythms sampler disc. That tune piqued my interest
so I stopped by Tune Town, our local campus record shop, and purchased
a copy of the Pogues" If I Should Fall From Grace with God."
I was blown-away by their powerful and beautifully crafted song "Fairytale
of New York."
