as part of the Tropicalismo movement along with fellow musicians Caetano
Veloso and Gilberto Gil. The Tropicalismo movement was a creative rennaissance
that encompased music, films, theatre and writing that lasted from the mid
to late 60's. Tom Zé continues to this day, to expand musical boundaries
in unique and unexpected ways.
