Bridging the Vista Gap Overcoming the fears of a Vista deployment
As Microsoft is pushing forward with Vista, several organizations our finding themselves needing to move forward with deployment reluctantly. At Wright State, we have started making those steps forward with the deployment of 2 vista labs with the remaining 650 seats moving to Vista by the end of the year in a Novell environment. There will be discussion about roadblocks we have encountered, the deployment of Vista, and the results in production.

Jeremy currently co-manages the public computing facalities at Wright State University, providing support to faculity and students with over 750 workstations, 30 printers, and 100 software packages.
Jeremy started maintaining computer facalities while attending college at Ball State University in Indiana. Open graduation, he accepted a position at Wright State providing desktop support to the university. After 5 years, he advanced into his current computer lab administrative position and continued to push the technology while adding automation to approve many of the processes.
