Mark is currently President of 2 colleges (Higher Colleges of Technology – Fujairah Men’s College and Fujairah Women’s College) in the Fujairah, United Arab Emirates.
Prior to being appointed President he served as the Chief Administrative Officer for the entire system of the Higher Colleges of Technology and was based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. His responsibilities included Budget, Finance, Purchasing, Facilities, Information Technology, and Audit.
Mark was the Vice President for Technology and Chief Information Officer at Minnesota State University, Mankato, Minnesota, USA for 6 and a half years. Under his leadership, was listed by Yahoo Magazine as one of the 100 most wired campuses in the US and became a global leader in wireless technology. He has a vast background in technology including over 20 years in industry including Chef Information Officer for Brown Printing Company, a large printing company of the international media giant Bertelsmann AG headquartered in Gütersloh, Germany which divisions include DoubleDay, Random House, Sony-BMG, Arista, and RCA records. In addition he held various technology leadership roles for the leading Fortune 100 manufacturing company, General Mills Inc based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
