Her responsibilities include oversight and implementation of MnCC's strategic plan and to strengthen the capacity of MnCC to serve its stakeholders and partners.

She also served as Senior VP for Planning and Development for Public Radio International.

As a consult she worked with a wide variety of community clients including the 3M Foundation, the Minneapolis YWCA, Catholic Charities, legal aid, Hennepin County and the Neighborhood Revitalization Program. She has also served as Executive Producer for the national public television series Mental Engineering, a show that deconstructs national TV commercials.

A graduate of Beloit College, Catherine is also an artist whose paintings have been shown regionally including in the 2005 Minnesota State Fair, and she serves as a mentor to other artists through the Women's Art Registry of Minnesota program.
