Enrolling in a Learning Community is easy!

First Year Learning Community Requirements and Enrollment:

To enroll in a learning community, you must be admitted to Minnesota State Mankato, have completed a housing application and meet the program requirements for the specific learning community you select. Reservations are taken until the Community is full or until July 15, 2018.

The learning community enrollment form includes a Learning Community Citizenship Agreement.  This agreement ensures that all students in the Learning Communities Program will show respect for one another, create a positive environment for community members and place their priority on a successful academic and social transition to college. It also shows agreement to participat in the learning community activites. Another copy of this agreement will also be signed at your first learning community meeting in the fall.

  1. Complete the First Year Learning Community Enrollment Form by visiting the following link: https://orgsync.com/106034/forms/284661

    If you are enrolling on a mobile device, when you click on the link you will see a username and password required, if you do not know your star ID and passwork please continue to scroll to the bottom of the page, you will see a link in green, click on this.  On each subsequent page, continue to scroll below the username and password request.

  • If you haven't already done so, make a housing reservation. You can apply for housing online at http://www.mnsu.edu/reslife/ or call Residential Life (507-389-1011) and let them know you'd like application materials.

Sophomore Learning Community Requirements and Enrollment:

To enroll in a learning community, you must be admitted to Minnesota State Mankato, meet the program requirements for the specific learning community you select. Reservations are taken until the Community is full or until early May.
