This year's Big Gay Conference is being held at the University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign. While the schedule is still being developed, speakers for
the conference will include transgender activist and author Leslie Feinberg, as
well as social justice educator and author Angela Davis. The LGBT Center is
currently requesting contact from those who wish to attend the conference, as we
will need to know how many people are going before we find transportation.
Meetings are at 5pm in CSU 204 (Nichols Room) except for a few occasions when it
will be in CSU 202 (Cooper Room), just a couple doors away. If you are interested
in assisting in meetings, participating, or both, please feel free to come to any
of the meetings. Each week, we will try to plan for a different topic to discuss
in addition to supporting each other's coming out processes, no matter what stage
we may each be at.
