Another successful semester is coming to a close, and it's time to start thinking about winter break and spring semester! Events to look forward to next semester include:

  • Film screening of For the Bible Tells Me So. This film is about the connection between homosexuality and religion, and the ways in which the two can work with or against each other. Showing in Ostrander Auditorium on Jan 30 at 7pm and in the Maverick 4 theater on the 29th & 31st at 7pm. All showings are free.
  • TJ Leyden, an ex neo-Nazi will be speaking on Feb 18th at 7pm in the CSU ballroom for Hate Hurts Day.
  • The Rocky Horror Picture Show is tentatively planned to screen in Ostrander later in the semester.
  • The spring drag show will be Apr 9. More details to come.
  • The LGBT Center would like to wish everyone a fantastic winter break. We will be closed from Dec. 22 to Jan 6, but since we know that the holiday season can sometimes be difficult for the LGBT community, we'd like to offer a few resources that may be helpful for getting through stressful situations. Feel free to pass these along to whoever might need them. Have a safe and happy winter break, and we will see you again in January!
